Standards and Legislation

Intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems and access control systems all have to conform to European wide standards.  In order to make sure these standards are as high as possible, G4S provides many key executives to participate in their development.  So whether it’s an Intruder Alarm System (E.N. 50131), an Access Control System (E.N. 50133) or a CCTV System (E.N. 50132), G4S have played a significant role in improving the security standards.

We are also licensed as part of the Government’s Licensing requirements under the Private Security Services Act, and are a founding member of the Irish Security Industry Association.
